Living Lab Smart Aging continues in Seoul

This month, students of Fontys ILS will leave for a study trip to Seoul. There, they will visit the Living Lab Smart Aging, a collaboration between Konkuk University, Hogeschool Windesheim en Fontys Academy for Creative Industries. The idea behind this lab is to provide state of the art applied research opportunities and real-life research assignments for researchers and students on Smart Aging, both in South-Korea and the Netherlands. The students will contribute to the joint research on how to improve the quality of life of elderly people in Seoul. ILS student Gijs Mommers is currently doing his graduation internship at the Living Lab in Seoul. He is working on a concept to bridge the gap between young and old. Seoul is one of the so-called hotspots of Fontys ACI. ILS students can go there for an internship, an advanced course or even for their graduation.
